The New Cool Collective is a unique band with a wealth of their own repertoire, immediately grabbing the public's attention with infectious grooves, charismatic stage presence and wild solos. Benjamin Herman, voted 'best dressed man' in the Netherlands by Esquire magazine, is the frontman of the New Cool Collective. The New Cool Collective have won many prestigious awards, including an Edison, and a Gouden Kalf for best soundtrack.
The New Cool Collective were founded 20 years ago, and have since released no less than ten albums. They have performed to their fans at festivals all over the world. They are known for their inventive collaborations with a range of artists such as Jules Deelder, Typhoon, Giovanca, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Waylon, and most recently with Guus Meeuwis, on their collaborative CD 'Dutch Masters'. The New Cool Collective is also the house backing band for many famous artists during the UITmarkt in Amsterdam.
